Still no clear idea on the terrorist group responsible. With the 105 year old Taj Hotel on fire with hostages still inside and running gun battles still in play we are yet again forced to face the pure evil of another horrifying terrorist attack.

While it isn't clear yet who is responsible what is clear is this is a new and dangerous precident in terrorism in India. Usually we see Hindu's or Muslim's targeted which seemed to suggest the attacks were meant to encourage internal issues between the affected groups.

With the hostage taking of American and British nationals this attack seems to be targeting western elements. But who is responsible? Although a formally unknown known group deccan Mujahideen has allegedly claimed responsibility.

Security agencies are baffled that the recently posted photo of the young terrorist dressed in a black t shirt, carrying a blue rucksack and an AK47 is also wearing a red sacred thread on his right wrist indicating he could be a member of an extreme hindu group or of course, simply posing as one.
